1. Overview
This privacy policy explains how Day's Bake handles information when you use the Android application. Day's Bake does not require an account and does not provide developer-operated cloud synchronisation.
2. Information stored on your device
The app can store bakery-related information locally, including:
- product and group names;
- shelf-life and reminder settings;
- tracked items, preparation dates, expiry dates and optional quantities;
- the operational time zone and app preferences;
- local activity and audit history used to keep item and quantity changes reliable.
This information is used to provide the date-board, tracker, calendar, history, settings and backup features. Day's Bake does not add these bakery records to advertising requests.
3. Backups and file access
You may choose to export a backup file or import a backup through Android's system file picker. Day's Bake does not automatically upload these files. You choose the location and storage provider used to save or retrieve them.
A storage provider selected through Android's file picker may handle a backup according to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.
4. Advertising and consent
The free version of Day's Bake uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to show a banner advertisement and Google's User Messaging Platform to collect or manage privacy choices where required.
Google states that its Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share information such as an IP address, app and ad interactions, diagnostic information, and device or other identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud-prevention purposes. An IP address may be used to estimate a device's general location.
Depending on your region, device settings and privacy choices, Google may serve personalised, non-personalised or limited ads, or may be unable to serve an ad. Day's Bake does not use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, mediation or developer-created advertising profiles.
Where a privacy-options entry point is required, it is available from the app's Settings screen. Advertising requests are gated by the consent state reported by Google's consent platform.

5. Information Day's Bake does not require
Day's Bake does not require a user account, name, phone number, email address or bakery employee identifier. The app does not request access to contacts, the camera, the microphone or precise device location for its normal features.
6. Data sharing
Bakery records stored locally are not shared with Manan unless you deliberately include information in a support message. Google and its advertising or consent partners may process information as described in Section 4 and in their own policies.
7. Data retention and deletion
Local app data remains on the device until it is removed through available app actions, Android app storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. Some archive or removal actions may preserve local audit history so that item and quantity changes remain reliable.
Exported backup files remain in the location you selected until you delete them there. Support emails remain with the email service until they are deleted in accordance with ordinary support and recordkeeping needs.
8. Security
Day's Bake uses Android platform storage and validates imported backup files before applying them. Advertising and consent communications are handled by the relevant Google SDKs. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children's privacy
Day's Bake is intended primarily for adult users, including home bakers, bakery workers and small businesses. It is not specifically designed or marketed to children. The app does not require users to provide an age, name or contact details. Users who are minors should use the app with permission and appropriate supervision from a parent or guardian.

10. Your choices
- You may use the app without creating an account.
- You decide whether and where backup files are exported.
- Where required, advertising privacy choices can be reviewed through Settings.
- You can clear local information through available app actions, Android app storage controls or uninstalling the app.
- You may contact Manan with a privacy question or request concerning information you deliberately sent for support.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app, advertising configuration, legal requirements or data practices change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
