Privacy policy

CandleSteps is a learning app for candlestick charts. It does not require an account and does not operate a developer-controlled data server.

Information stored on your device

CandleSteps stores limited learning information locally so the app can work offline:

• your selected content language and text size;
• lesson-completion progress; and
• the last lesson you opened.

The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, financial-account details, precise location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.

Backup and device transfer

Android may include the local preferences and learning progress described above in cloud backup or device-to-device transfer, depending on your Android device and Google account settings. Manan does not operate or access that backup. The Android platform and the selected backup provider handle it under their own terms and privacy policy.

Advertising and Google services

CandleSteps uses Google Mobile Ads to display ads and Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage privacy choices where required. Depending on your region, settings, and choices, Google may serve personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads.

Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and share an IP address, app and ad interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID or app set ID. Google describes these uses as advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Data sent by the SDK is encrypted in transit. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings, and a Privacy & ad choices control is available in CandleSteps when Google's consent system requires it.

CandleSteps does not send your lesson progress or app preferences to Google Mobile Ads, and does not add custom advertising profiles, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, mediation, or precise-location access. Links and support

When you choose the privacy-policy link, it opens in your browser. The website host and browser may process ordinary connection information under their own policies. When you choose Contact support, your email app prepares a message. CandleSteps does not send the message automatically. Information you choose to include is handled by the email providers involved and may be retained as needed to answer the request. Do not send passwords, account numbers, or other sensitive financial information.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

Local settings and progress remain on the device until you clear CandleSteps storage or uninstall the app. Android may restore eligible information from a backup when the app is installed again. You can manage backup through Android and your Google account settings. To ask about information deliberately sent in a support email, contact the address above.

Children

CandleSteps is intended for adults and is not designed or marketed for children. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent personal information through a support request may contact the address above.

Educational scope

CandleSteps provides educational reference material. It does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and it does not execute or facilitate trades.

Security

CandleSteps relies on Android application storage for its local information. No method of storage is guaranteed to be completely secure, so keep your device and system software protected and up to date.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if CandleSteps features or data practices change. The revised policy will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
